‘Routine Storyline’: Gopichand’s Ram Banam fails to impress; read twitter review

Ram Banam released theatrically on Friday.

Ram Banam stars Tottempudi Gopichand and is directed by Srivas.

Actor Totempudi Gopichand’s fans were eagerly waiting for his film Ram Banam after the successful films Lakshyam and Lokyam. The film, directed by Srivas, released in cinema halls today. Fans were disappointed with Ram Banam as it was a film with a regular story. There have been reviews on Twitter mentioning that there is nothing to see in the film apart from Gopichand’s performance. Here are some Twitter reviews that have criticized every aspect related to the film.

A user tweeted his opinion about the first half of the film. According to users, the story line of Rama Banam is stale and the comedy works only in parts. There is nothing exciting in the film except the songs.

Another user wrote against the first half and called it below average. He tweeted that the film starts off well but then settles on a plot that has been seen many times. The user wrote at the end of the tweet that some comic scenes are good but the rest are more irritating than funny.

A user also tweeted that the film stuck to the roots. According to user, Ram Banam has a dull story, poor screenplay, drawn out scenes and a weak first half. The user tweeted that Srivas’s direction was also not great.

Ram Banam revolves around the story of two brothers Vicky Agmanam (Gopichand) and Jagapathi Babu. Despite ideological differences, the two brothers unite to fight a businessman who is selling adulterated food products. In this fight, Vicky’s personal life takes a difficult turn. His relationship with Bhairavi (Dimple) also turns sour but he remains firm on his objective. Will Vicky and his elder brother succeed in their mission of defeating the businessman? This question is the core of the plot.

Gopichand last worked in Pucca commercial which was a failure at the box office. Even the star’s most ardent fans criticized the film. He was of the opinion that he should not have acted in a film which did not even have a proper script. Written and directed by Maruthi Dasari Pakka Commercial revolves around the story of an honest judge Suryanarayana (Sathyaraj). However, his son Ramchand alias Lucky (Gopichand) turns out to be an unscrupulous lawyer.
