The Royal Enfield Scram 411 Himalayan is expected to come with vibrant color options while retaining the hardware

The RE Scrum 411 will retain most of its hardware and mechanicals from the Himalayan. But the motorcycle has visible changes. The leaked images show a new headlamp cover, vibrant color options and a new plate on the side with 411 written on it. The fuel tank and fenders will be sourced from Himalayan. The seat appears to be a single seat design as compared to the split seat design of the Himalayan. The major change is the smaller 19-inch front wheel, as opposed to the 21-inch spoke front wheel on the Himalayan. The bike is expected to still retain its off-road credentials with longer travel suspension and dual-purpose tyres.

The lower seat height should make the Scrum 411 more accessible for shorter riders, while the ground clearance is expected to be 200mm, 20mm less than that of the Himalayan. The jerrycan holder and tall windscreen have also been removed from the bike, which aims to be more urban in appeal. Power will come from the same 411 cc, single-cylinder, engine and power figures are also likely to be similar. On the Himalayan, the motor develops 24.3 bhp at 6,500 rpm and 32 Nm at 4,000 rpm, while mated to a 5-speed gearbox.

No word yet on pricing, but the model is expected to be priced under ₹ 2 lakh (ex-showroom), which should make it much cheaper than the Himalayan. Meanwhile, the Yezdi Scrambler price starts from ₹ 2.05 Lakh (ex-showroom).
