The GoPro cameras are now linked to the sniffer dogs of the Railway Protection Force (RPF) in Bengaluru. This will help the RPF to obtain footage of operations related to bomb threats or anti-sabotage exercises. The cameras can also record and relay the captured photos. “As a part of technological modernization we have bought RPF gadgets, GoPro being one of them, we have bought 12 and the total cost is around Rs 3.8 lakh. It will directly record on real time basis and relay it to RPF control room,” said Shyam Singh, DRM, Bengaluru.
