Playback singer Rahul Sipligunj is over the moon after the wildly popular “Naatu Naatu”. RRR The song which he sang with Kaal Bhairav achieved Best Original Song trophy at the Golden Globes earlier today,
The musician said that he is starting the celebrations by feeding the famous Hyderabadi Biryani to everyone who visits his home. “‘Naatu Naatu’ has won the Golden Globe Award. I feel happy and emotional, it makes me think of a journey back,” he said. PTI,
The humble singer credits the film’s stars Jr NTR and Ram Charan for making “Naatu Naatu” a sensation with her spirited dance moves in the SS Rajamouli-directed period drama. “I am thankful to Prem Rakshit Master (choreographer), Jr NTR sir and Ram Charan sir. The film was made on a large scale and people made it a big sensation and a big hit.
“Another cool thing is the ‘hook up’ step of the song which went viral in India as well as globally. I will feed Hyderabadi Biryani to people who are coming to my house. That’s how I want to start my celebration. ”
Composer M.M. Sipligunj started off as an independent singer before being noticed by Keeravani, who gave him an opportunity to be a part of their team and grow as a singer such as Damu, Shirdi Sai Baba, egaAnd Maryada RamanOne. Despite his young age, Sipligunj has singing credits in over 50 films.
After the Globes, all eyes are on the Oscars where “Natu Natu” is among 15 nominees in the Best Song category.
