“Food was supplied to the bakeries from the kitchen unit at Telungupalayam in the city. Details of items were maintained by the accountant jeevraji With his help from Karur district, Jaganathan siphoned off funds from June 6, 2021 to April 24, 2022. They created fake bills and cheated 7 lakhs,” Manikandan said.
Manikandan came to know about the rigging in April and interrogated both of them. “They stopped working. I asked them to return the money, but they didn’t respond.”
Based on his complaint, the police registered a case against Jagannathan and Jeevraj under section 408 of the Indian Penal Code. Jagannathan has been sent to judicial custody. Jeevraj is absconding. news network
