Mangaluru: For flight United Arab Emirates (UAE) has almost returned to pre-pandemic days for travelers with essentials RT-PCR From Sunday, double-vaccinated passengers were also removed from the checklist.
Travelers must present a valid vaccination certificate indicating completion of a dose of vaccine approved by WHO or UAE, provided with the QR code system. Those who have not been vaccinated or have taken a single dose will still have to submit a valid negative COVID-19 RT-PCR test certificate within 48 hours from the time of sample collection and an approved healthcare provider is issued from With QR code.
The third option is to submit a valid medical certificate issued by the concerned authorities that the passenger has been cured of Coronavirus SARS Cov-19 within a period of one month (date of recovery and date of arrival) provided with the QR code system.
But, all passengers must pass through a PCR test on arrival Dubai, if requested and the passenger is to self-quarantine until a negative test result is issued. If the passenger tests positive, then such traveler should follow the guidelines issued by the relevant health authority in the Emirate of Dubai.
Air India, Air India Express have already issued a circular to this effect and Emirates has confirmed the same to customer care. Even UAE residents need to obtain GDRFA (General Directorate of Residence and Foreign Affairs) and (Federal Authority for Identity and Citizenship) ika Pre-travel approval has been abolished. All airlines flying to UAE have announced on their website that UAE residents flying to Dubai from any destination in India do not require pre-travel approval from GDRFA/ICA (for emirates other than Dubai) .
