Chandigarh:

In another bomb threat to a private school in Amritsar, the police have found the role of a student in order to cancel the maths exam.

The school was threatened that it would be blown up on 16 September. Police said the source of the threat message was traced to the mobile phone of a student’s father.

A case has been registered.

This is the second such incident in a week in Amritsar, which has created panic and tension in the city. A top school in the city had reported a bomb threat on 7 September, which was later mishandled by three of its students.

However, the incident put the police on high alert and searches were conducted at midnight.
