Salar: Prabhas, KGF Director Drop New Poster; Fighter of the film to now clash with Hrithik Roshan

It’s official! Prabhas will clash with Hrithik Roshan Deepika Padukone At the box office, at least now. On the occasion of Independence Day, Prabhas and KGF director Prashant Neel released a new poster of Salar and revealed their new release date. The Telugu film is delayed from its April 2023 release date and will now release on September 28, 2023. Salar will now clash with Fighter, which will have Hrithik and Deepika in the lead roles.

On Monday, Prabhas, Prashant and production house Hombale Films shared a new, bloody poster of the film. In the poster, Prabhas stood with blood-soaked khandas (an Indian sword) while a pool of dead bodies surrounded him. The poster teases Prabhas in a brutal, crude and massive avatar. Meanwhile, Hrithik and Deepika starrer Fighter had announced its release date in March.

Salar is widely known as an action and adventure film. The film has been shot across the world in countries like India, Europe, Middle East and Africa. The first installment of the project has already been completed and Prabhas will soon focus his attention on completing the last installment. While the entire team is working extensively with their effort to execute the film well, maximum grind will go into VFX, for which the makers have hired a foreign studio to complete it. The bar has already been set quite high for the film.

Prabhas is paired opposite Shruti Haasan in the film, while Prithviraj Sukumaran, Jagapathi Babu, Easwari Rao, Shriya Reddy and others play the lead roles. It is also said that the film Salar of Hombale has been set up on a very large scale and has a budget of over Rs 400 crores.
