Salasar Techno Engineering bags orders worth Rs 1,182 crore in FY22
Out of Rs 1,182 crore, EPC (Engineering Procurement and Construction) orders were worth Rs 938 crore, heavy steel structure division orders were worth Rs 200 crore and export orders were worth Rs 44 crore.
In addition, there were monthly orders worth Rs 35-40 crore from telecom and other structures, the company said, adding that it has also constructed four towers at the Goa airport.
The company has reported a net profit of Rs 31.5 crore for 2021-22 as against Rs 29.8 crore in the previous year, a growth of around 6 per cent. Its turnover increased from Rs 596.6 crore to Rs 718.9 crore in the previous financial year.
“FY22 has been a challenging year given the unusual and unprecedented volatility in commodity prices for both steel and zinc. Despite the adverse conditions, we were able to achieve total sales of Rs 718 crore as against Rs 597 crore in FY21. FY22 In 2015, EBIDTA Managing Director Shashank Agarwal said, has been increased from Rs 57 crore to Rs 69 crore.
Agarwal had recently said that his company would invest Rs 100 crore to expand its business. An investment of Rs 50 crore will be made for setting up a fabrication unit in Bhilai, while Rs 50 crore will be used for setting up a galvanizing plant.
Salasar Techno Engineering based in New Delhi is engaged in engineering, designing, procurement, fabrication and galvanization for telecom companies.
