DSP Samrala Harvinder Singh said that a case has been registered under sections 336 (act endangering life or personal safety of others), 427 (mischief causing damage to the amount of fifty rupees). Indian Penal Code And related sections have been registered against unknown accused in the case under Arms Act. He said that about seven rounds of firing were done. He said that the matter is being investigated.
The police officer said that there are around eight to 10 cases against the complainant.

When asked about the status of the case, DSP Samrala said that the accused in that case are yet to be identified. He said that they are probing that matter as well.

Police officials said that the CCTV footage of the house is being examined to get clues about the accused in the case.
