Samsung plans Galaxy S21 ‘Fan Edition’ smartphone for CES 2022, says report

South Korean smartphone major, samsung, is reportedly working to bring the Galaxy S21 FE during the Consumer Electronics Show known as CES in 2022. The annual tech show will be held in Las Vegas from January 5 to January 8, 2022. Samsung will add a few tweaks to this ‘Fan Edition’ smartphone for the buyers in the mid-premium segment. Leaked reports suggest that the Samsung Galaxy S21 FE may ship with Qualcomm Snapdragon for the US market and Exynos for other regions.

A CoinBRS report indicates that the new Galaxy S2 FE could feature a 6.4-inch AMOLED punch-hole display with 120Hz refresh rate and protected by Corning Gorilla Glass. In the SoC department, Samsung Galaxy FE 2022 is likely to ship with Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 for the US market and Exynos 2100 for other regions. Could be Android 11 with Samsung’s own customizations. The smartphone is expected to pack 12GB of RAM and 256GB of internal space. A 4,500mAh battery can be seen in the smartphone.

For photography, the Samsung Galaxy S21 FE is likely to offer a triple camera configuration. It is rumored to have a 64MP primary sensor with an ultra-wide lens and macro for close shots. The punch-hole suggests a 32MP single selfie lens in the S21 FE.
