Internet users jokingly called the Samsung product “Detergent SSD”.
Samsung recently launched its latest portable solid-state drive (SSD), the T7 Shield. The product promises plenty of storage space and offers durability even in the most challenging environmental conditions. Samsung India on Friday shared a picture of the product on Instagram.
“Robust durability, at your service. Use T7 Shield PSSD to protect all your files and work even in the most challenging environmental conditions. Terms and conditions apply,” Samsung captioned the post.

Samsung’s Instagram post immediately took the internet by storm as several users pointed out that the product, dark blue in colour, looks similar to Rin detergent soap. In the comments section of the post, while some users jokingly wrote that they believed it was an ad for Rin Detergent soap,” others hilariously referred to the product as a “detergent SSD.”
One user wrote, “When I saw the image I thought Samsung was going to compete with RIN soap.” “I thought it was an advertisement for Rin detergent soap,” said another.

A third user commented, “Let me confuse this with Surfxel soap (soap),” while a fourth said, “I swear it looks like a weird rinse bar, especially the water around it.” Key Showers – Samsung assures me it’s indie at heart”
One user even wrote,My mother will wash clothes thinking it all (My mom will wash clothes thinking it’s soap)” Another hilarious addition, “Samsung Detergent Cake”.
Samsung’s Instagram post, posted a day earlier, has already garnered close to 20,000 likes and hundreds of comments.
