SBI Doorstep Banking: State Bank of India, the country’s largest lender, launched its door-to-door banking services years ago, but it came in handy all the way during the COVID-19 pandemic. Now, SBI has announced free doorstep banking services for persons with disabilities. SBI’s doorstep banking services will be available thrice a month for these customers. The public sector lender recently announced the move in a tweet.
“SBI at your doorstep!!! For customers with disabilities, SBI is here to provide free “door step banking services” 3 times in a month,” it said in a tweet on Monday, August 15.

Here are SBI’s doorstep banking services that individual customers can avail thrice a month for free:
- cash pickup
- cash delivery
- check pickup
- check requisition slip pickup
- Form 15H Pickup
- delivery of draft
- Delivery of Fixed Deposit Advice
- life certificate pickup
- KYC document pickup
SBI doorstep banking services are also available for senior citizens, handicapped, certified chronic disease, visually impaired, account holders with KYC registration, single/joint account holders and customers residing within 5 km radius of home branch.
However, services are not available for jointly operated accounts, small accounts and accounts of non-individual nature.

SBI customers need to register on toll number 1800 1037 188 or 1800 1213 721 to register for SBI doorstep banking services.
Here’s how to avail doorstep banking services of SBI using YONO App
Customers can also avail doorstep banking services of SBI using YONO app. Here’s how they can do it:
Step 1 : Open SBI YONO App using your MPIN or Username and Password
Step 2 : From the menu, click on Service Request
Step 3 : From the next screen click on Doorstep service option
Step 4 : Select your account number from the dropdown menu and click on Register. After that your request will be processed.
Features of SBI Doorstep Banking
- Registered in home branch
- The amount of cash withdrawal and cash deposit is limited to Rs 20,000 per day per transaction
- The service charge per visit is Rs 60 plus GST for non-financial transactions and Rs 100 plus GST for financial transactions.
- Withdrawals will be allowed using cheque/withdrawal form along with passbook.
- Delivery will be done on best effort basis but not after T+1 working day (Except Holidays).
