The now-viral clip begins with a water snake gripping the feathers of a white bird with its teeth. To protect itself the bird turns and tries to hurt the snake with its beak. After a few seconds, the bird strikes the snake again, causing it to drop its wing. Blood can be seen oozing from the bird’s feathers, and the snake tries to capture the bird again but fails in its attempt. The snake leaves the bird injured. In the next frame, both can be seen coming near the bank of the pond. The injured bird has little trouble standing when trying to move.
Instagram users were happy and worried at the same time. One of the users wrote, “People be like ‘Bird Save’, what’s for dinner? KFC? Perfect!” Another person said, “But snakes have their venom diluted in water, not strong enough to paralyze prey.” A third user said, “Can’t tell what kind of snake, though I think it’s just a water snake. Either way, it’s bitten off a bit more than it can chew.”

Earlier, a video of a lioness fighting with a leopard went viral on Instagram. In the video, a fierce fight is seen between the leopard and the lioness. The leopard tried to run away a couple of times, but the lioness clamped it down ferociously between her paws and jaws, preventing the leopard from escaping. After several unsuccessful attempts, the leopard finally managed to escape and climbed the tree. After this the lioness becomes calm.
