Scottish police stop to find car full of heroin, cocaine, chips and a lamb

The lamb has been taken into custody by a local farmer.

Cops in Scotland were left scratching their heads when they found a sheep carrying £10,000 (Rs 10,17,400) worth of drugs inside a car. Metro informed of. The incident happened on Sunday after Police Scotland stopped a car on a motorway near Glasgow and made the bizarre discovery.

A police dog, Billy, sniffed out the drugs, and police found heroin with an estimated value of £7,000 and approximately £3,000 of cocaine. Two men and a woman were arrested and charged with drug offenses.

Later, Police Scotland mocked the situation on social media, saying that the car was “not a Lamborghini”. He also shared photos of Lamb sitting in the back seat with a bag of chips, and a positive drug test.

He tweeted, “Oh, ewe! #GlasgowRP officers stopped this vehicle (not a Lamborghini!) on #M74 J3 NB yesterday. In addition to this little boy, almost £10k in Class A drugs were recovered with the help of @PSOSDogs. The driver was further arrested for failing to make a roadside exchange for cocaine.

A spokesman for Police Scotland said: “Officers in Glasgow have seized drugs with a possible value of £10,000 from a vehicle on the M74 northbound. At approximately 18:10 BST on Saturday, 22 April, 2023, officers on the M74 northbound Stopped a car on the side carriageway, near junction 3.

The three occupants of the vehicle were arrested and the car was searched with the help of the dog unit. PD Billy entered the car and indicated that drugs were present. Two men, aged 52 and 53, and a woman, aged 38, were arrested and charged with drug offences. They have been reported to the Procurator Fiscal.”
