Chef Sanjeev Kapoor has shared a mouth-watering Chilli Chicken Momos recipe on his Instagram handle.

Chicken momos coated with a spicy and tangy chutney – they are indulgent in every bite! This recipe brings together the goodness of momos and Indo-Chinese flavors – all in one. You can have these momos as an evening snack or can also serve as a starter for your next dinner party. They will surely be a crowd pleaser. Garnish them with spring onion greens and serve hot. About Chilli Chicken Momos Recipe: How To Make Chili Chicken Momos
material:
- Chicken mince (minced) – 500 grams
- Readymade momo flour made from 1 cup all purpose flour
- salt to taste
- ground black pepper to taste
- Ginger, finely chopped – 1 tbsp
- Garlic, finely chopped – 1 tbsp
- Green chilies finely chopped – 2-3
- Green onions with finely chopped green onions + for garnish – 2
- Soy Sauce – 1 tsp
- oil to grease
for chutney
- Oil – 1 1/2 tbsp
- Garlic, finely chopped – 2 tsp
- Ginger, finely chopped – 1 tsp
- Green chilies, chira – 2-3
- Small onion, chopped – 1
- Small green capsicum, finely chopped – 1
- Soy Sauce – 2 tsp
- Red chili chutney – 1 tsp
- salt to taste
- ground black pepper to taste
- Chicken Stock – 1 1/4 cups
- Maize flour batter – 1 1/2 tbsp
method:
- Take out the chicken mince in a large bowl. Add salt, crushed black peppercorns, ginger, garlic, green chillies, spring onion bulbs, soy sauce and spring onion leaves and mix well.
- Roll out the dough into a large thin disc. Cut out rounds with cookie cutters. To make momos, take a round ball, place a portion of the chicken mixture in the center, apply some water on the edges and shape the momos as desired.
- Heat enough water in a steamer. Place the momos in a steamer basket and steam for 8-10 minutes. Meanwhile, to make the sauce, heat oil in a pan. Add garlic, ginger and mix well. Cook for 1-2 minutes. Add green chilies and mix well.
- Add onion and green capsicum and fry for 1-2 minutes. Add soy sauce and red chilli sauce and mix well. Add salt, ground black pepper and chicken stock and mix well.
- Slide in the momos and mix gently until the momos are well coated with the sauce. Serve hot garnished with green onion leaves.
