Sensex down 1170 points but these 5 stocks up 4-7% today

These stocks not only managed to stay in the green zone, but also had a bullish trend. On a day when realty and PSU stocks have declined, we list 5 stocks that rose from 3.5 per cent to 6.5 per cent in this bear driven market.

1]Vedanta: This stock of mining company opened with today’s upper margin Climbs to its intraday high of 0.05 more 330 closed with a gain of about 6.5 percent against Thursday’s close 309.55 each. Vedanta shares to be one of the multibagger stocks in 2021 as it bounces off from 160.40 The 330 per share level today, registers a year-over-year increase of about 105 percent.

2]Vodafone Idea: This telecom share opened with the difference above today 0.60 per share and reached today’s all-time high 10.90 per share level, reached near 7 percent in today’s trading session. The stock of Vodafone Idea has been a news making stock as it gives a sharp jump on small growth. Despite being tagged as a penny stock, this telecom stock has given around 25 per cent returns in the last 6 months.

3]Trident: This share of infotech company opened with gains today 45.20, Thursday its close price and intraday high of . made 47.45 per share, registering a rise of 5 per cent in today’s session. Like Vedanta, Trident’s shares also have a history of delivering great returns to its shareholders. In year-over-year time, Trident’s shares have rallied 10.75 per share level to levels of 47.45, a yield of 340 per cent in 2021.

4]Thermax: This engineering stock opened today 17.80 above Thursday’s closing price on NSE and climbed to today’s highest level 1753.90 each, logging approximately 5 percent intraday profit. The stock is almost a multibagger stock as it has risen from around from 905 1750 per share level, an increase of about 95 percent in 2021.

5]Bharti Airtel: Like Vodafone Idea, this telecom stock also opened 25.65 per share went up and made today’s high The level of 755.95, recorded an increase of about 4 percent in today’s session. This stock has also given good returns to its shareholders in recent times. This stock has almost jumped in the last 6 months from 517 740 per share level, rising by about 45 percent over the period.
