Former Narcotics Control Bureau officer Sameer Wankhede, who arrested actor Shah Rukh Khan’s son Aryan Khan in the GPS case, had traveled abroad several times with his family and owned disproportionate assets. In conversation with the agency, Sameer Wankhede claimed that he spent Rs 82.8 lakh on the fifth flat in Goregaon, which costs Rs 2.45 crore. He and his wife also mentioned a flat read for Rs 1.25 crore before marriage. The source of this money has remained a mystery.

The attachment returns of Wankhede and his wife show that they have an annual income of Rs 45,61,460. However, in this he did not tell where the money came from to go abroad and get stuck.
