Shah Rukh Khan, the co-owner of the Knight Riders franchise globally, was over the moon after Trinbago Knight Riders named their team for the inaugural edition of the Women’s Caribbean Premier League (CPL). This three-team tournament will start from August 30.
Along with TKR, the Guyana Amazon Warriors, led by Stephanie Taylor and the Barbados Royals, led by Hayley Matthews, will compete in the championship.
Shah Rukh on Friday, June 17 left a tweet and expressed his happiness over the upcoming tournament.

The Knight Riders men’s team has won the CPL several times under the leadership of Dwayne Bravo and Kieron Pollard.
TKR director Venky Mysore said that he is looking forward to see women participating in the championship.
Mysore was quoted as saying, “We are proud to announce our first women’s team under the Knight Riders banner, and look forward to representing TKR in this year’s Caribbean Premier League, the inaugural Women’s T20 competition for women. watching from.”
