The actor, who made an extended cameo in the Ayan Mukerji directorial, was seen posing with his stunt double in the unseen picture. According to the stunt double’s Instagram account, her name is Hasit Sawani and she is a UK based international stunt performer.
Shah Rukh Khan and Haseet were seen wearing matching outfits covered in red. They were seen posing in front of the green-screened room where SRK’s part was shot. Sharing the picture, Hasit wrote, “It is a real pleasure for the legend Shah Rukh Khan to be the stunt double for his cameo sequence. Bollywood The film Brahmastra.”
The picture soon went viral with many SRK fan clubs sharing it on multiple platforms. Many fans took to the comment section of the picture and praised the stunt double for his performance in Brahmastra. Speaking to PTI, Ayan Mukerji said that he is ‘always grateful’ to Shah Rukh for coming on board of Brahmastra. “We have written that in our credits, ‘Forever grateful to Mr. Shahrukh Khan’. Sometimes, people come and do something with such a generous and big heart. To repay what Shah Rukh Khan has done on Brahmastra There is no way. For those unaware, Shah Rukh Khan played the role of a scientist Mohan Bhargava and was also nod for his role in Swades, in which Ayan Mukerji was an assistant director, in the film. He played the role of an important member of the Brahmanas, with his character wielding ‘Vanarastra’.
