Shah Rukh Khan announces new project with Rajkumar Hirani
The first schedule of Shah Rukh Khan’s upcoming film Dunki, directed by Rajkumar Hirani, has wrapped up.
Shah Rukh Khan has left fans excited with almost back-to-back announcements of his upcoming film after a hiatus. The actor did not appear on the big screen after Aanand L Rai’s Zero and the audience is waiting to see him again in theatres. The actor is currently busy shooting for Jawan, directed by Atlee, and Rajkumar Hirani’s immigration drama Dunki. Now, reports are coming that the actor has already wrapped up the first schedule of Dunki and is gearing up for the international schedule.
If a report in Pinkvilla is to be believed, Shah Rukh completed the first schedule of Dunki in Mumbai last week. He will make his international debut in July. A source was quoted as saying, “Shah Rukh and Hirani wrapped up the Mumbai schedule last week and will leave for the international schedule in July. They will be filming in Budapest and London for about a month, and will be finalizing schedule dates soon. Meanwhile, Shah Rukh will start shooting for Atlee’s Jawan by mid-June, and will also complete his part for Tiger 3 before leaving for Dunky’s international schedule.
Well, needless to say, fans can’t contain their excitement for the film, which will see Taapsee Pannu pairing with the superstar. Viewers are waiting to see what magic Hirani and Shah Rukh will create on screen. The film is going to hit the theaters on 22 December 2023.
On June 3, Shah Rukh Khan announced Atlee’s Jawan. the film will mark Bollywood Nayanthara debuts, and reportedly also stars Priyamani, Sanya Malhotra and Sunil Grover. The film will release on June 2, 2023. YRF’s Pathan is also in Shahrukh’s lineup. The Siddharth Anand starrer will have Deepika Padukone as the leading lady, and John Abraham as the antagonist.
