Hitting out at the BJP, NCP chief Sharad Pawar said the ruling party at the Center was trying to topple several state governments. Indicating a change in the MVA alliance, Pawar said Shiv Sainiks are unhappy. Tension has come to the fore in the MVA with the NCP opposing the renaming of Aurangabad and Osmanabad in the last cabinet meeting chaired by Uddhav Thackeray.
