Shardul Thakur replaces Axar Patel in India’s T20 World Cup squad

The All India Senior Selection Committee after discussions with the team management has included Shardul Thakur in the main team ahead of the T20 World Cup.

All-rounder Axar Patel, who was a part of the 15-man squad, will now be in the list of standby players. Shardul, who is currently part of the Chennai Super Kings (CSK) squad, has taken 18 wickets in the current 15 matches. IPL Edition.

“The selectors felt that he was less of a fast bowler and also Hardik Pandya Not bowling, he needed an all-rounder in the main team.”

“The letter stands and if Ravindra Jadeja gets injured, he will return to the main team again. As long as Jaddu plays, the letter will not be needed.”
