Shark Tank India is back without Ashnir Grover and Twitter finds it ‘absolutely rubbish’

shark Tank India Season 2 has barely started and the judges are already facing a lot of flak on social media. Much of it was directed towards Namita Thapar, who rejected a brand pitch because it is a co-Sharky competitor to Vinita Singh’s brand. The pitch, a makeup brand called Recode, was rejected by all the sharks except Piyush Bansal for this very reason, even though the pitch was impressive. In such a situation, people on Twitter are missing Ashneer Grover by calling him a shark.

The BharatPe co-founder was arguably the most interesting judge on the first season of the show and was responsible for most of the memes that came out of it. ‘Yeh sab doglapan hai’ and ‘Bhai kya kar raha hai tu’ have become iconic in the annals of classic memes.

“Shark Tank season 2 is not even close to season 1. The drama is high, the sharks are not even interested in competing and are just grouping up and making offers. So far, the most composed shark is [Peyush Bansal], Missing [Ashneer Grover],” wrote one Twitter user. “Shark Tank season 2 without [Ashneer Grover] Feels like watching cricket without commentary,” quipped another.

A user wrote, “There are two things wrong with Shark Tank India season 2: 1. 10 pm 2. No Ashneer Grover.”

Apart from this, people are also criticizing how the show has taken an emotional turn with a lot of back stories in the style of Indian Idol.
