Shehzada is a remake of the Telugu blockbuster Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo. Karthik Aryan has replaced Allu Arjun in the remake.
The trailer of Shehzada dropped amid much fanfare on Thursday. Kartik Aaryan and Kriti Sanon headline the remake of Allu Arjun’s blockbuster Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo. While the trailer has been receiving a lot of love from fans, producer Allu Aravind admitted that initially, he was skeptical about the extent to which Kartik would be able to fill in for Allu Arjun in the Hindi remake.
For Beparda, Allu Aravind produced the original film along with S Radha Krishna. The film was released in January 2020 and was a huge hit in Telugu speaking regions. Speaking about seeing Kartik in the shoes of the Telugu star, the producer admitted his doubts but they all vanished when he saw the first glimpse of the film.
Speaking at the press conference, Allu Aravind said, “When I saw the first rush, I was skeptical about how (Karthik) could pull it off (but) I was flat out.” Arvind praised director Rohit Dhawan. “Thank you my friend for he has given his best. I am proud that I worked with his father and now with him.” Talking about Kriti, the producer said that she is the most beautiful woman in the film.
Shehzada revolves around a young man who grows up in a poor household. His life takes a surprising turn when he learns that he is actually from a wealthy family. He makes his way to the family and tries to get his place back but there are many obstacles in his way, including a threat to the family that he will be seen fighting.
With Shehzada, Kartik is not only emerging as a mass actor but he is also trying his hand at producing. Actors Allu Aravind, S. Radha Krishna is co-producing the project along with T-Series’ Bhushan Kumar and Aman Gill. Shehzada is scheduled to release on February 10.
