“All governments in Afghanistan have failed to protect Shias. It is a matter of concern that terrorists are now targeting educational institutions and public gatherings. Since the Taliban came to power, attacks on Shias have increased, which means That Shias are unsafe in Afghanistan. No satisfactory action has been taken against the terrorists so far.” Jawad said.
Not only in Afghanistan, the cleric also expressed concern over the attacks on Shias across the world. “Human rights organizations are silent when it comes to attacks on minorities in Ukraine as elsewhere in the world. Double standards about terrorism will not end this,” he said.
