The cleric condemned the attack and said that since Taliban Attacks on Shias have increased after coming to power in the country and if the government is unable to provide security to its citizens, it has no right to remain in power.
He also criticized international organizations for making noise on Ukraine, but kept a close eye on the humanitarian crisis targeting minorities in Pakistan, Yemen, Syria, Palestine, Myanmar, Saudi Arabia and other countries.
“All governments in Afghanistan have failed to protect Shias. It is a matter of concern that terrorists are now targeting educational institutions and public gatherings. Since the Taliban came to power, attacks on Shias have increased, which means That Shias are unsafe in Afghanistan. No satisfactory action has been taken against the terrorists so far.” Jawad said.
Not only in Afghanistan, the cleric also expressed concern over the attacks on Shias across the world. “Human rights organizations are silent when it comes to attacks on minorities in Ukraine as elsewhere in the world. Double standards about terrorism will not end this,” he said.
