Sikandar, starring Salman Khan, is set for its OTT release. Directed by A R Murugadoss, the action drama has Rashmika Mandanna in the female lead role.

On May 24, 2025 (Saturday), streaming platform Netflix announced the premiere date of the Hindi movie. Bankrolled by Sajid Nadiadwala under the Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment and Salman under his banner Salman Khan Films. The movie will stream on Netflix from June 25, 2025.

Sikandar hit the screens on March 30, 2025. The film opened to mostly negative reviews from critics and fans alike. The film revolves around a royal, essayed by Salman Khan, whose heart beats for the common man. A personal loss pushes him to take on the corrupt system.

Sathyaraj, Kajal Aggarwal, and Sharman Joshi were the actors in the movie. Tirru handled the cinematography while Vivek Harshan did the editing for the movie. Rajat Arora, Hussain Dalal and Abbas Dalal wrote the dialogues for the movie.

Sikandar was the maiden collaboration between Salman and Murugadoss. The Hindu review of the movie said, “Salman’s stiff presence and stilted dialogue delivery add to the woes. The action choreography has little novelty. In the absence of effective camerawork, it seems people queue up to be beaten by a star whose intent is intact but agility waning.

“Saddled with stock dialogues, Rashmika adds one more film to her filmography where her job is to boost the star’s ego. Sharman Joshi and Kajal Agarwal have little to do to justify their presence. Sathyaraj keeps gritting his teeth as if he knows what could have been done with this material.”
