Several Indian airlines are facing backlash from musicians for misusing their expensive musical instruments. After singer-performer Bismil slammed India’s largest airline IndiGo for mishandling his equipment despite paying Rs 30,000 extra for luggage, now Bollywood singer Benny Dayal has slammed Indian airlines for mishandling his music equipment. Reprimanded for Interestingly, Dayal’s rant was not against any one airline, but against all airlines in India.
In a video posted three days ago on his Instagram handle BennydayalOfficial, the singer can be seen criticizing all the airlines, tagging Vistara, IndiGo, SpiceJet, Air India, AirAsia India and Akasa in his statement. He captioned the video, “All Indian Airlines breaking and mis-handling musicians instruments!”
He laments how irresponsible the airlines are when it comes to fragile equipment versus regular luggage. He said airlines should also take responsibility for broken or lost baggage. He specifically targeted Vistara for losing two of his bags over the course of a week and also accused Indigo of not briefing its ground staff on handling of musical instruments, resulting in baggage breakage.
IndiGo replied to Dayal in his Insta account, “Hi Mr. Dayal, We are very anxious to hear about your experience. We would request you to kindly share your contact details via DM and convenient to connect with you.” Give time.”
On the other hand, Simple Flying contacted Vistara, who said, “The video shared by an Instagram user showing baggage handling does not counter the high standards set by IndiGo for its baggage handling services.
