Skill training for local youth of Amrabad

Forest Department is organizing livelihood training for the local community members of Amrabad Tiger Reserve at National Institute of Tourism and Hospitality Management.

The department informed that a total of 19 members have been selected from the marginal areas of the tiger reserve and sent to the institute for a 10-day training in hospitality and cooking.

Addressing the inaugural function, Principal Chief Conservator of Forests and Chief of Forest Force RMdobriyal highlighted the importance of having specialized skills in hospitality to reap the benefits offered by eco-tourism. Field Director – Project Tiger, Amrabad Tiger Reserve Kshitij and DFO – Nagarkurnool Rohit Gopidi were present.
