Skoda Auto India on October 1 riding on its newly launched SUV Kushak registered a more than two-fold increase in sales at 3,027 units in September 2021.

While the Kushak has fueled the growth of the brand in India, other models like Superb, Octavia and Rapid have also contributed to the growth in sales volume.
The company had launched the midsize SUV Kushak in June this year for a price range of Rs 10.5 lakh to Rs 17.6 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi).
The model crossed the 10,000 booking milestone in September 2021, it said.
Commenting on the sales performance, Zack Hollis, Brand Director, Skoda Auto India said, “Skoda Auto India has managed to consolidate and grow in September despite the constraints faced by the industry in terms of some key components.” He further added, “We are confident of building on our momentum as we approach the festive season, and look forward to delivering the growing number of Skoda vehicles across the country.
