Skoda Auto India launched kushaki Monte Carlo variant price in India ranges from ₹15.99 Lakh to ₹19.49 Lakh (ex-showroom, India). The special edition of the compact SUV is positioned over the existing top-of-the-line styling trim of the Kushak and comes with a premium of ₹70,000. Like the Monte Carlo variants of the previous Skoda cars, the Kushaq also comes with revised styling elements and additional features that enhance the premium and sporty quotient of the SUV.

Now, the Monte Carlo version of koda’s cars pays homage to the company’s heritage and pedigree in motorsport and rally, and this treatment has always been given to koda’s specialty cars. Considering the Kushak the best-selling Skoda model in India, it was a no-brainer to bring in the Monte Carlo version of the compact SUV. The SUV comes with Monte Carlo badging on the front fenders, and is offered in two color options – Tornado Red and Candy White.

Kushaq Monte Carlo cabin gets new red accents, new upholstery and more

Visually, the Kushak Monte Carlo trim comes with updated styling which includes glossy black treatment around the grille, front and rear skid plates, trunk garnish and ORVMs. The SUV also gets a carbon steel painted roof with matte black roof rails and dark chrome door handles, along with a set of 17-inch Vega dual-tone alloy wheels. The SUV also gets the Monte Carlo badge on the front fenders instead of the Skoda lettering and glossy black treatment for the Skoda and Kushak badging at the rear. The SUV continues to feature Skoda’s signature crystalline LED headlamps with daytime running lamps and crystalline split LED taillamps.

The Monte Carlo gets a black finished roof with gloss black trims instead of chrome detailing.

The cabin of the Kushaq Monte Carlo gets new red accents on the dashboard, center console, interior door handles and door panels. The seats are also now wrapped in new dual-tone red and black leatherette upholstery with ‘Monte Carlo’ written on the headrest, and red stitching for the door armrests and front center armrest. The SUV also gets Monte Carlo scuff plates and red ambient lighting. Skoda has equipped the Kushak Monte Carlo with a new 8-inch fully digital virtual cockpit, an updated 10-inch touchscreen infotainment system with a new red theme and aluminum foot pedals. The SUV also continues to feature features like wireless charger, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, ventilated front seats, auto climate control, and a sunroof.

Under the hood, just like the styling trim, the Kushak Monte Carlo also comes with the option of both a 1.0-litre TSI engine and a 1.5-litre TSI motor. The 1.0 TSI continues to develop 113 bhp and 175 Nm and will be available with both a 6-speed manual and a 6-speed torque converter automatic gearbox. Meanwhile the 1.5 TSI develops a strong 148 bhp and 250 Nm and will be available with either a 6-speed manual or a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic gearbox. The 1.5-litre trim also comes with red front brake calipers which differentiate it from the 1.0-litre variant.
