Skoda Auto India The Kushak has quietly increased the price of the base variant by Rs 29,000. According to the company’s website, the compact SUV is now priced at ₹ 10.79 lakh (ex-showroom). Expected from the base Active 1.0L TSI MT model, the prices of the rest of the variants remain unchanged. The SUV was launched in the country in June 2021 at a price of ₹ 10.50 lakh (all prices, ex-showroom India). Skoda Offers kushaki The SUV will be offered in seven variants across three trims – Active, Ambition and Style.

The SUV marked the Czech carmaker’s entry into the competitive compact SUV segment, which has received a good response from the market, and the company crossed the 10,000 booking milestone in September 2021. Keeping in mind the demand, the company introduced six airbags and TPMS. Style AT 1.0L and 1.5L variants at an additional cost of ₹ 40,000. These features were missing in the variants at the time of launch.

The Skoda Kushak is the first SUV to be introduced under the company’s Bharat 2.0 project. This is the automaker’s first model to be built on the India-specific MQB-A0 IN platform with over 95 per cent local ingredients.
Skoda Kushaq price now ranges between ₹ 10.79 – ₹ 18 Lakh (ex-showroom).

Under the hood, the Skoda Kushak SUV is available with a choice of two petrol engines – a 1.0-litre three-cylinder TSI and a 1.5-litre four-cylinder TSI. While the former makes 113 bhp and 175 Nm of peak torque, the latter makes 148 bhp and 250 Nm of peak torque. Transmission options include a 6-speed manual gearbox mated to an optional 6-speed automatic transmission on the 1.0-litre TSI, while the 1.5-litre TSI is offered with a 7-speed DSG gearbox.
