Samajwadi Party (SP) president K Akhilesh Yadav on Friday said that his party will maintain equal distance from both the Congress and the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). Yadav said that the SP, along with the working Congress President Mamata Banerjee, is too expensive to defeat the BJP. Talking about the reservation issue, he said, “We are with Mamta didi in Bengal. At this point of time, our stand is that we want to keep equal distance from both BJP and Congress.
