Special – Raju Srivastava’s health deteriorated, kept on ventilator; Confirms his close friend – Times of India

Renowned and one of the best stand-up comedians of our country, Raju Srivastava, who was rushed to the hospital yesterday (August 10) after suffering a heart attack, is now on ventilator. Raju, who is admitted in AIIMS, took ill from yesterday and had to be put on ventilator, confirmed a friend of his to ETimes TV.

Raju’s close friend Dr. Anil Murarka, who is currently in the hospital with him, confirmed the news to ETimes TV and shared, “Yes, it is true. He is not stable unfortunately. His brain is not working. And so he had to. He was put on ventilator. Yesterday he had a major heart attack. The doctors put two stents in his heart yesterday but they are still not responding positively to the treatment. His family has come Yes, his wife is there. His health is not stable and I spoke to the doctors and even they said, ‘Let’s wait and see how his condition will be till evening’.”

According to a publication, Raju Srivastava was running on a treadmill yesterday when he had to be taken to the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi.

Raju Srivastava has been a part of many popular TV shows and is one of the finest stand-up comedians of our country. He has done shows like The Great Indian Laughter Challenge, Bigg Boss, Shaktimaan, Comedy Circus, The Kapil Sharma Show.

He has also acted in Bollywood movies like Maine Pyar Kiya, Tezaab, Baazigar to name a few. He is popular for his character of Gajodhar and is often referred to by the name. He recently appeared in India’s Laughter Champion as a special guest.
