Indian Navy successfully test fired BrahMos missile.

The Indian Navy successfully test-fired the BrahMos supersonic cruise missile on Sunday. It was test-fired from the Navy’s frontline guided missile INS Mormugao. The missile proved the mark capability of the Indian Navy at sea. The officers provided this information.

BrahMos is the frontline supersonic cruise missiles of the Navy. The Navy’s prowess at sea has been demonstrated once again in this missile test.

“The indigenously developed ship and its weapon systems are yet another shining example of self-reliance and naval power at sea,” a Navy official said.
The location of the missile test is not yet known. BrahMos Brothers Private Limited is an Indo-Russian joint venture that manufactures supersonic cruise missiles. This missile can be fired from submarines, ships and aircraft or ground ‘platforms’.
