SSP: SSP suspends Kheri SHO for negligence in duty, warns others. Allahabad News – Times of India

Prayagraj : Senior Superintendent of Police (PrayagrajAjay Kumar suspended the station in-charge (SHO) on Thursday. Khirik Police Station SDR, Vaikunth Nath Pandey on charges of dereliction of duty.
SSP told TOI that the department had received a written complaint against the SHO that he was continuously lax in the investigation in which the cases were related to women/minor girls.
He said, “After receiving a complaint against SHO (Kheeri) Vaikunth Nath Pandey that he was lax in investigation, especially in cases of crime against women and minors, SP (Trans-Yamuna) and SP (Crime) A report was sought from The task of investigating the allegations has been entrusted. The SP (crime) in his report submitted to me found the allegations to be true. Acting on the report, the SSP has suspended the guilty SHO. Meanwhile, the SSP said that as Kheri police station was located on the UP-MP border not far from the district headquarters, the SHO was involved in ‘willfulness’ apprehension that his activities would not come under the scrutiny of senior officers.
The SSP also warned other station in-charges/station officers that laxity would not be tolerated and the guilty policemen would be punished. He also warned of stern action against the policemen, especially the complainants or those misbehaving with the public.
The SSP claimed that senior police officers are keeping a close watch on the working style of the station officers and those who join hands with law breakers will be punished.
