Chief Minister MK Stalin on Monday virtually inaugurated a new NielsenIQ facility in Chennai that will provide employment to 2,500 professionals in data science and analysis.
Headquartered in New York, NielsenIQ is one of the industry leaders in global measurement and data analysis and one of the trusted sources for retail and consumer intelligence. The Chennai facility will be the largest of its offshore facilities worldwide.
This global research center expansion will meet NielsenIQ’s current and future global needs, and will employ 2,500 people in high-value jobs such as data science and analytics, an official release said.
Industries Minister Thangam Thennarasu, Chief Secretary V. Irai Anbu, NielsenIQ Chief Technology Officer Mohit Kapoor and senior officials were present.
