Mumbai: Standard Chartered Bank on Tuesday announced the appointment of Sarabjit Anand as chief technology and operations officer for India and South Asia and SV Shivshankar as head of human resources.
Anand, the bank said in a statement, joined Standard Chartered Bank in India in 1991, later moved to Hong Kong and was most recently chief information officer for Singapore and ASEAN markets.
“He has been working in Singapore since 2015 and was instrumental in strategizing and advocating the bank’s overall digital journey in Singapore and the ASEAN cluster.”
Shivshankar, who has been with the bank since 1994, brings with him over 28 years of HR experience in various leadership roles across the country, region and globally, including business partnerships, talent and learning, the statement said.
“She has built up a strong business acumen over the years and has worked in cross-cultural environments within India, the Middle East and Singapore.
