The Tamil Nadu government on Saturday appointed senior IAS officer N. Reshuffled civil servants by appointing Muruganandam as his finance secretary. current s. Krishnan was posted as Industries Secretary, previously held by Mr. Muruganandam.
Mr Krishnan, who holds the post of additional chief secretary, was one of the few IAS officers created in his posts after the regime change in May 2021.
In a government order, K Gopal has been appointed as Transport Secretary and Dayanand Kataria as Secretary, Public Works Department. Sandeep Saxena is posted as Secretary, Water Resources Department.
Ramesh Chand Meena is the new Principal Secretary, Energy Department and Dharmendra Pratap Yadav has been posted as Secretary, Handloom, Handicrafts, Textiles and Khadi Department. Selvi Apoorva has been posted as Secretary, Youth Welfare and Sports Development Department and Beela Rajesh as Commissioner, Land Reforms.
P. Amudha has been appointed as Secretary, Department of Rural Development and Panchayat Raj on his return to the state cadre.
