Qualcomm and Stelantis announced in January that they would work together to leverage the fabless semiconductor maker’s automotive offerings. Now, both have announced that Stelantis and 14 of its brands will be leveraging the Snapdragon digital chassis from 2024 onwards. Qualcomm’s solution will enable customizable and immersive in-vehicle experiences that will be enhanced with 5G capabilities for telematics. This first-of-its-kind experience will be leveraged by the Maserati brand which is the most premium brand in the Stelantis portfolio.
Qualcomm will contribute to the Stellantis supply chain that will be connected across all of its software domains that harness the power of its high-performance computing capabilities.
