A step-by-step guide on how to link your PAN with Aadhaar with no penalty of Rs 1,000:
- Log on to the Income Tax Return e-filing website – www.incometaxindiaefiling.gov.in
- Click on ‘Link Aadhaar’ option
- Enter the correct Permanent Account Number, Aadhaar Number, and Full Name (as given on the Aadhaar Card) in the specified fields.
- Enter other details like date of birth in the specified field

- Select the relevant option and click on the ‘Link Aadhaar’ button at the bottom of the webpage.
