Sterlite Power gets transmission project worth Rs 324 crore

The company has completed the NER-II project, an inter-state transmission scheme spread across the north-eastern states of Assam, Arunachal Pradesh and Tripura.

Sterlite Power on Monday said it has received Rs 324 crore Nangalbibra-Bongaigaon inter-state power transmission project.

“Sterlite Power, a leading private sector power transmission infrastructure developer and solutions provider, has been awarded Rs 324 crore Nangalbibra-Bongaigaon Inter-State Power Transmission Project through Tariff-Based Competitive Bidding (TBCB) on the basis of emerging as the L1 bidder. honoured,” a statement from the company said.

It said, “The project elements include a new 220/132 kV substation at Nangalbibra and 130 km of 400 kV D/C transmission line connecting Bongaigaon in Assam to Nangalbibra in Meghalaya across the Brahmaputra river. “

The project will also include a 20-km stretch of 132 kV D/C line connecting Hatsinghamari in Assam to Ampati in Meghalaya.
