InfosysThe IT major will announce its fiscal fourth quarter earnings on Wednesday. Analysts expect Infosys to guide double-digit revenue growth for FY13, while maintaining its Ebit margin guidance in the 22-24% band.
Tata Steel: Completed acquisition of entire 50% stake held by Steel Authority of India in S&T Mining Company. Its subsidiary Tata Steel Mining Ltd has acquired debt-ridden Rohit Ferro-Tech Ltd. 617.12 crore through an insolvency resolution process on Tuesday.
Union Bank of IndiaLender Bharat International Bank will buy 75% stake in Malaysia held jointly by Bank of Baroda and Indian Overseas Bank. The proposal is awaiting formal approval from RBI. This would also require government approval including a green signal from the Ministry of External Affairs as the bank is of strategic importance.
TVS Motor: Swiss E-Mobility Group (Holding) AG, a subsidiary of the company, has acquired a 100% stake in Alexandre’ro douard’o Passion Velo Soral for CHF 2.79 million. The company is engaged in the sale of e-bikes as well as e-bike accessories.
Reliance Capital: Amid the impasse over the bidding process for debt-ridden Reliance Capital Ltd (RCL) and its subsidiaries, lenders have dismissed concerns raised by RBI-appointed administrator and decided to go ahead with their own proposal Is. In November, RBI superseded RCL’s board following payment defaults and governance lapses.
Hathway Cable and Datacom: reported a year-on-year decline of 60.6% in its consolidated net profit 28.42 crore for the quarter ended March 2022. Total income grew by 3.32% during the period 462.87 crores.
Fino Payments BankWill buy a minority stake in New Delhi-based fintech Paysprint for an undisclosed amount. The bank acquires a 12.19% stake in the company that provides APIs (Application Programming Interface) in banking, payments, travel, lending, insurance and investments.
ICICI Bank: The private sector lender will consider raising funds through issuance of debt securities in the board meeting to be held on April 23.
Veranda Learning Solutions: Nomura Singapore exited the company by selling an additional 7,78,600 shares at an average price of 162.51 each, through open market transactions. European financial services group Societe Generale acquired an average of 7,68,398 equity shares in Veranda 162.50 each.
McDowell HoldingsThe National Company Law Tribunal has initiated insolvency proceedings against the company and appointed an interim resolution professional. The NCLT allowed the petition filed by Sun Star Hotels and Estate Pvt Ltd, a financial creditor of the erstwhile Vijay Mallya-promoted company, which claimed 16.80 crores.
