Indigo: According to a report, IndiGo, the country’s largest carrier by fleet and domestic market share, operated 227 million Available Seat Kilometers (ASK) on Monday, November 8. The airline said that this is the highest single-day domestic ASK in the airline’s history, surpassing the previous best of 225 million ASK recorded on March 16, 2020.
Telecom Stock: The Department of Telecommunications (DoT) has extended the validity of 5G trial licenses for Reliance Jio, Vodafone Idea and Bharti Airtel by six months. Accepting requests from telcos for more time to test their 5G network, the license, which was to expire at the end of November, has now been extended till the end of May, 2022.
