Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar on Friday said that students should take part in the survey of welfare schemes being run by the state government. During an interaction with the delegation of All India National Educational Federation, he said that when students participate in welfare schemes, the spirit of service will develop in them.
He urged the office bearers of the institution to inculcate the spirit of service among the students by connecting them directly with the society. According to an official statement, he said that the students should be involved in verification, survey or other such activities under the welfare schemes run by the state government.

A letter has been written to the Haryana Public Service Commission on behalf of the Higher Education Department. Apart from this, a letter will also be sent to the commission this month for the recruitment of 1500 more teachers. Khattar directed the officials concerned that efforts should be made to get admission of students in self-financing courses running in the universities of the state. He said that presently the number of students in these courses is less and sincere efforts should be made by the department so that the number of students can be increased.
In addition, universities and colleges should be approached by alumni and appeals should be made to financially support educational institutions so that greater work can be done in the field of research.
