Actor Suriya and director Bala have collaborated on two memorable films of the early 2000s: Nanda And Pithamagan.
The two are now coming together for a project.

Announcing this on Thursday, Suriya tweeted, “He is the one person who had more faith in me than I did. He made me experience a new world. After 20 years, with the blessings of my father (Shivakumar), I am the same person. I am excited to start another beautiful journey with Bala.”
Director Bala, known for his offbeat style of cinema, gave Suriya a big break and an image makeover with his films in the 90s. Since then, the filmmaker has worked with several other stars, including Suriya’s wife Jyothika (Stranger) His last outing was Dhruv Vikram’s first offering Verma.

Meanwhile, Suriya awaits the release Jai Bheem Next week on Amazon Prime Video. He has also directed Pandiraj aetherkum thuninthavan and directed by Vetrimaaran plaintiff in the queue.
