Hindi cinema has seen many melodious collaborations between the two musicians over the decades. Duets like Shankar-Jaikishan, Laxmikant-Pyarelal, Kalyanji-Anandji, Nadeem-Shravan, Jatin-Lalit, Anand-Milind and Vishal-Shekhar have tuned many melodies to enrich our popular music.

Shiv-Hari may not have been as prolific, but still, they are more focused on their illustrious careers as two of India’s finest instrumental musicians. Santoor player Shivkumar Sharma, half of it, He died in Mumbai on Tuesday due to cardiac arrest at the age of 84.
