Tamil Nadu Governor RN Ravi said at an event that there is no question of imposing Hindi or any other language. He also said that an impression is being created by some people that the central government is imposing such language in Tamil Nadu or anywhere which is far from the truth.
Earlier, Tamil Nadu’s Higher Education Minister, Ponmudi, got involved in a language war. Ponmudi made fun of Hindi at an event and said that Hindi speakers sell pani-puri. He perpetuated the English language, disrespecting one of the most spoken languages of India.
