Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (DMK) is on its way to annihilation urban body elections in tamilnadu After winning 104 wards out of total 200 in Chennai. Its rival All India Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (AIADMK) is in second place, winning 11 wards.
Apart from this, DMK is leading in all 21 corporations.
Urban local body elections were held on Saturday for 12,607 posts in 21 corporations, 138 municipalities and 490 nagar panchayats in Tamil Nadu.
57,778 candidates are contesting for 12,607 posts.
