2 members of Jaish have been arrested in the district
Security forces on Monday arrested two active members (OGWs) of the Jaish-e-Mohammed organization in an open field in Jammu and Kashmir. Police gave this information. A police officer said that they were informed about being stopped in the net, acting on which a special team of police and army was stopped at different places in the district. According to officials, two suspects traveling in a two-wheeler were intercepted at Naina Batpora in the area, where 25 hand grenades, one pistol, two mag cameras, 230 pistols, 10 one rifle magazines and 300 one cartridges were recovered from them. Police said one of the arrested was identified as Shawkat Ahmad Digoo, while the other was a minor. The minor was Digu’s cousin. Officials said that during interrogation, Digoo disclosed that he was in touch with Firdous Ahmad Bhat, an active member of Jaish, who is currently lodged in Rajouri Central Jail.
